Banaal

Banaal is the world of this campaign setting. It is named after Bane, the god of war. This is the first generation of inhabitants. As such, each inhabitant was created at the beginning stage of adulthood. There are no parents and children as of yet, so there is no family. However, the Races naturally gravitated toward one another and have settled into the natural settings created here on Banal that most closely match that of their home world. In each area, cities created by the gods rest, already built, with stunning architecture. Each building and street is flawless, containing nearly everything each citizen needs for survival. However, each city is short one necessity, which varies by city. This was done by the gods to create conflict. The desired result is war, so that the gods can play their game. Placing so many creatures on this planet has created conflict, as many races are from similar terrain types, and the fight over territory and resources begins here. Each of the Regions is built slightly too small to comfortably hold each member of each race that would naturally inhabit that area, also encouraging battle.

This is the only world where each of the (relatively) intelligent races live. Normally, each race lives on its own planet. Several races have been selected to represent the Gods in their war for the Throne of Ages. The outcome is currently uncertain, and at this moment, no god currently is in any better position than any of the other gods.
